How exciting for us to sing at First Baptist Church New York! It was through Philip and Sandy, a wonderful couple, that we were led to the beautiful town of Falconer to sing in 2 concerts. This church seeks to reach out to the community and hosts various events in order to share the good news of the gospel.

From the moment that we stepped outside the car, we felt the love and warmth of Pastor Gordy and his wife Jean. These folks were so kind to our family, and we enjoyed great conversation and fellowship.

Our kids were amazed by the skills of Philip, who is an accomplished illusionist. It was such a blessing to hear how he has reached out to so many young people with his ministry. We enjoyed doing some sight-seeing around town and visited the birthplace, monument, and grave of Lucille Ball.

We wished our time in New York was longer, but we look forward to seeing our new friends again in 2018.

A big thank you to Philip, Sandy, Gordy, and Jean for inviting us to First Baptist. We left Falconer with a renewed and refreshed focus on our ministry because of this church’s Christ-like example.
