What a great way to start the new year by meeting the folks at Holland Christian Homes! This very large retirement home is found in Brampton, and many of its residents are of Dutch descent.

We came to be a part of the home’s bi-monthly birthday celebration. It was amazing to hear a very long list of names read honoring many who have reached ages including 101! The program included the singing of “Happy Birthday” in English and in Dutch.

We loved having time after to converse with this lovely group, and we hope that we can come sing for them again. Thank you Danielle for inviting us to Holland Christian Homes.
