If you asked anyone in our family their favourite event of the year, you would get the same answer: Family Camp.

It was our third time at Family Camp in Iowa, and it only seems to get better and better. I think it is probably because our relationships are deepening and we are also meeting new families and broadening our friendships.

There are so many enjoyable activities to take part in, but there are also the opportunities to rest and relax in this beautiful valley that God has created. As parents, we felt such a renewal of purpose of our homeschooling vision. We were encouraged and inspired by our leaders who biblically challenged us as parents to set the instruction of God’s word as number one in our children’s lives.

We were comforted and strengthened by the testimonies of so many parents who shared real experiences that had taught them valuable principles in their life. We enjoyed singing a few songs as a family at chapel and listening to many others share their musical talents.

We didn’t want to leave but are already looking forward to being with our American family soon again.
