After a 1700 km drive, we were blessed by 3 days of great bluegrass music.This year’s Lake Itasca Family Music Festival showcased some very talented bluegrass bands and brought 2500 bluegrass loving folk to listen.

Our girls entered their first fiddle contest accompanied by their brother and were thrilled to bring home 2 second-place ribbons. Our kids loved the Storybook Theater. Aaron and Hannah enjoyed participating in mandolin and dobro workshops. Sunday morning was so uplifting as we all joined together in an old-fashioned four-part harmony hymn sing.

It was fun to end the weekend with our friends from Michigan.
